How do I decide on the length?
Consider your needs, schedule, and budget. A 60-minute session is great for a quick relaxation or targeted relief combined with some other reads of the body. While 90 minutes allows for a real full-body massage. A 120 or 180-minute session offers deeper work and more focus on specific areas and overall wellness.
Can I upgrade my massage length or include add-ons at the time of my appointment?
If there’s availability, no problem!
Is there a shower on the premises?
Great question. Unfortunately, there is no shower at the office location. Please be mindful of the clothing you wear to the session as oil can stain clothes or give a rancid odor even after washing.
Is this a place for happy endings?
The only happy ending is relief from a therapeutic massage. There is absolutely no tolerance for sexual advances or requests. Please refer to the policies section.
It’s my first massage, do I need to be completely undressed?
The short answer is no. If you feel uncomfortable or unsure of the treatment, you may leave on any particles of clothing that make you feel comfortable. Just remember, everything is draped (meaning no exposure of private areas).
Do I need to shave or get a pedicure?
The answer is no! This is not a beauty pageant. Everyone is embraced. Come as you are, with no guilt or shame!
What if I am ticklish?
If you get ticklish during the session, the therapist will change pressure to reduce/ remove the sensation. Heavier pressure can better achieve this.
Is it normal to have bruising after a massage?
It is normal to have bruising following the use of guasha or cupping during the session. The bruising should dissipate within 3-4 days. In some cases, 6-7 days.
Is it rude to fall asleep on the table?
No, its not rude to fall asleep during a massage. It' shows a sign of trust and opportunity to rest, reaching parasympathetic state. Utilizing the moment to rest.
Can massage make some injuries worse?
Yes, some conditions can be worsened by massage therapy. It’s important to let the therapist know about any injuries or open wounds.
Can I work out after a massage?
Depends on the massage, some sports massages are intended to prep the body for activity. However in most cases its better to Relax. Get to the workout later in the day or next day.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, the general rule for cancellation is 24 hours notice. please see cancellation policy for further details.
